Businesses across Milton Keynes can now sponsor International Women’s Day Milton Keynes 2027, as Women in Enterprise opens sponsorship opportunities for the annual celebration at The Ridgeway Centre in Wolverton.
The event expects more than 400 attendees, including business owners, senior decision-makers, entrepreneurs, professionals and community representatives.
Organizers launched the sponsorship drive alongside the International Women’s Day 2027 campaign theme, Progress Parity, which urges collective action to advance gender equality and expand opportunities for women.
Women in Enterprise chair Michelle Theuma invited local companies to join, saying sponsorship lets businesses show support for women in business, leadership and the local community while building connections across Milton Keynes. She said sponsors also raise their profile, give their teams a project to take pride in and show their commitment to creating opportunities for women.
Theuma said every sponsor helps bring hundreds of people together to celebrate achievements and inspire the next generation.
The event pairs keynote speakers and networking with fundraising for local causes, including MK ACT and the Milton Keynes Community Foundation Women’s Fund. The previous edition raised more than £8,700 for the Women’s Fund, which supports projects for women and girls across Milton Keynes.
Organizers believe sponsorship gives local businesses a chance to meet prospective clients, collaborators and fellow organizations. The event forms part of the wider Women in Enterprise program of networking, social activities and charitable fundraising.
