Background-
Senior executives, entrepreneurs, investors and government officials gathered in Israel for the WO.men CEO Summit 2026, a conference organized by the Israeli High-Tech Association and the Manufacturers Association of Israel’s Women in Industry Forum to advance women into leadership roles across the country’s tech and industrial sectors.
Sivan Noyfeld, business development manager at the Israeli High-Tech Association and director of the Women in Industry Forum, opened the event by saying that expanding women’s influence in decision-making strengthens Israel’s economy and innovation ecosystem.
A central conversation featured ynet Global CEO Sharon Shalmon Esman interviewing Keter Group CEO Udi Sagi on leadership and managing global organizations through periods of rapid change.
Sagi said advancing women is not a women’s issue but a responsibility shared by everyone, and he outlined Keter’s approach, including proactive recruitment of women, pay-equity reviews and leadership development programs. He also described artificial intelligence as a tool that supports employees rather than replaces them, while pointing to the resilience of Israeli manufacturing.
The summit also highlighted Israel’s wider innovation ecosystem. Israeli High-Tech Association CEO Avi Troub revealed plans for Israeli High-Tech Week 2026, a nationwide push to unite the country’s innovation community.
Other sessions featured executives from IBI Mutual Funds and Meta Israel, along with Armis Security co-founder Nadir Izrael, who shared his company’s journey into global cybersecurity.
The event closed with Tali Rosenwaks receiving the Women Tech Leadership Impact Award for her decades-long contribution to Israel’s high-tech industry and her work opening doors for women in senior leadership.
